Bryce Armbruster has been working with Greenway Solar since 2020 and his mission is to help clients understand the best solar energy solutions available and fulfill their dreams of owning a Tesla Solar Roof. He’s proud of the role he plays in enabling customers to build their sustainable energy futures. How long have you been with the company?

What do you like most about the work being done at Greenway?

The exciting changes and continuous improvement of Solar products, helping clients understand the products, and fulfilling dreams to own a Tesla Solar Roof (roof of the future).

What’s the most interesting project you’ve worked on at Greenway?

The first ever Tesla Solar Roof Installation in the entire state of Minnesota.

How has your role evolved since coming here?

My role has changed daily since I joined Greenway Solar and I Love it. I get to wear many hats, help make company decisions and most of all lead the small but mighty sales team to ensure continued growth and customer satisfaction.

What’s one thing people don’t know about you that they’d be surprised to find out?

I have 4 amazing children.

If you could have any superpower, what would it be?

Flying, so I could get places quicker and admire all the Minnesota Tesla Solar Roof installations

What do you like to do in your free time?

All outdoor activities, family, and traveling to new destinations.

Proudest career moment?

Leaving a Fortune 500 company to work at a small company and follow my lifelong dream of assisting to build a successful growing business.

With so many incentives and credits out there, it’s no surprise that we’re seeing more and more solar panels pop-up on rooftops as you take a stroll through your neighborhood or drive down the freeway. The US Energy Information Administration (EIA) reported a 34% increase in residential solar installs from 2020 to 2021. The recent Federal Solar Tax Credit increase to 30% means we are likely to see more significant increases in installations in the coming years. The financial benefits, along with the fact that solar is a clean renewable energy, help make the decision to add solar to your home a whole lot easier. The problem is many homeowners still don’t really understand what they’re buying. They want to know how the solar works and what it means to purchase a solar system for their home.

Analyzing Agrivoltaics, The Future of Farming

If the United States is serious about reaching its goal of a net-zero emissions economy by 2050, we’re going to need a lot of solar panels. According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, ground-based solar will need 0.5% of the land in the contiguous U.S. to reach that goal. Realistically, strictly putting solar panels on businesses and houses isn’t enough to satisfy the 0.5% land requirement.
